There are products that are apparently simple but that may seem high in price. We can find similar items on the market at lower prices, but are we really dealing with the same product?
In most of the cases, no. Because nobody gives things away for free and when there is a difference in price there is also a difference in the item and, normally, it has to do with its quality. This is something that is not appreciated at first glance, but that will be noticed in daily use. Other times, on the contrary, we would be paying for a brand that does not provide extras. To know the difference, you have to look at the details.
An easy example to see is found in sports shoes. Leaving aside what we pay for a brand or a design, we can find two apparently equal sneakers and one cost twice as much as the other.
But when we put them on, maybe the last changes and one is very comfortable while the other is not. The sole is usually the main difference, both in the comfort of the inner insole and the resistance of the outer sole.
And if we talk about work boots instead of sneakers, we can find that boots that are apparently identical are not approved and are not valid for work because they do not have essential details for the activity we carry out.
Perhaps the manufacturer of the boots has not had a manufacturer of flame retardant cord that provides extra security to this type of footwear or perhaps what appears to be a resistant and hard material would not withstand the fall of a heavy object.
Objects as simple as socks can be another good example. Two pairs of basic socks can have a great variety in price, perhaps because some are made of 100% quality cotton and others are made of polyester. Those made of cotton will absorb sweat and will not cause chafing, while those made of synthetic material can end up being annoying and even cause fungus in the medium term.
Therefore, when you see two items that look similar but have a big difference in price, look for those details that make the difference to determine if they are worth paying more for or if you would simply be paying more for a logo.
